Part 1, Jason & Julianne’s ‘Big, Bold and British wedding’

This wedding was immense, I kid you not, It was the kind of wedding that every photographer dreams about photographing and I had the pleasure of doing just that. Julianna is gorgeous, very Marilyn Monroe complete with beauty spot. I knew we would get along from the moment I knocked on their pink door and I was introduced to their dogs ‘Elvis and Priscilla’. I knew it would be something pretty individual which I just love. The day started at Julianne and Jason’s home where Julianne and her six bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead (one of which was two days off her due date and very impressively still wore heals) I was entertained all morning by her videographer uncle and tales of her hen do to Paris. I was also introduced to ‘Barbie’ who accompanied them on the trip. See below for photo!

This was one amazing wedding! Julianne and Jason described it a ‘Big, Bold and British’ and it certainly lived up to the name. Here is one little image from their big day. This was taken moments before a big British downpour.
Julianne looked gorgeous and Jason looked very dapper in his suit. More to come very shortly.

Here are a few of my favourites from Matt & Michelle’s fantastic wedding day. The day was full of individuality. I loved their ‘Matt and Michelle quiz’ and their walk or should I say run down the aisle to Queen’s ‘don’t stop me now’, it was the fastest shot I have possibly taken yet!

I love how this photo is slightly out of focus and bleached by the sun – it seems to just add to its loveliness. Happy mothers day to all mums, soon to be mums and mums that will never be forgotten. x

Dear all,
I have recently had some time off and this is where I have been holed up.
Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am stubborn, fiercely independent and I hate to sit still for more than five minutes, so when life threw me this recent curve ball it was hard going not only for me but also for my suffering partner Paul. This photo was taken by him, Its very strange to see it now and it gives my a sinking feeling inside when I look at it but weirdly I am glad he recorded the moment. I don’t do sick well so I really was a shameful patient and I am sure he would not argue with that. Enormous thanks to all my friends that were so great during this time and especially Paul for putting up with my drama’s and for spending hours watching Masterchef and trying to brush the dreadlocks out of my hair.

Great start to the year!
So chuffed to have my work shown on the wonderful the Boho Wedding Blog. Thank you Kelly, you made my January.
Spain will always hold a special place in my heart as it was my home for some time … I will never give up trying to learn Spanish!
Thank you Anna and Andy and for having such a wonderful wedding at Amante in Ibiza – This is proof of its greatness as people still want to show it after a year!

Feel the heat from beautiful sunny Ibiza as we all cuddle up inside on this cold and windy evening. Two of my previous wedding couples have kindly allowed Amante beach club to feature some of their wedding images in their Amante 2013 wedding brochure. Big thanks to you both and yes if you go there again they owe you a free dinner!
